Live Event Technical Services
Here at OCM, we can provide extensive technical services to support your live event. From power in the middle of a field, to lighting and sound equipment, our team is here to help.
Our team of staff have extensive experience working in the live events industry from large-scale festivals both in the UK and overseas to small village fêtes. We can work with you from the early planning stages to ensure nothing gets missed and your event runs just as you imagined.
Whether you need a single socket extension lead with 2 speakers and a microphone or whether you need multiple generators, power distribution and a full sound and lighting system, we will be able to support your live event.
We are also able to support long-term temporary installations, such as Christmas markets, which may run for a few weeks at a time. In these situations, we will install the system and equipment before the event and then be on hand if and when required to change or install additional elements. For events requiring more extensive technical services, you may wish to consider having a technician on site throughout the event.
Whenever we provide services without a technician on site full-time, we will always ensure that the event manager is fully aware of how to operate the system and has basic troubleshooting knowledge. For more complex issues, we always have one of our staff available on call.
Using a variety of different equipment, we are able to support both indoor and outdoor events whatever the weather, providing waterproof equipment as and when required.
Beginning at our initial consulation, we will listen to your requirements and ideas on how you wish the event to run, from there we can then present our proposal based on your requests and also bring together our knowledge, experience and expertise to produce the best event possible.
We are able to provide Audio Visual services for events such as live demonstrations, where cameras and screens may be required to ensure the whole audience can see the demonstration clearly. We can provide this in addition to the appropriate sound reinforcement system.
For events which are difficult to visualise and require a complex technical installation, we will work with you to develop 3D plans of the event in addition to the basic drawings in the planning stages. This level of design planning is essential for a new event to ensure the end result is really as expected. This allows you to experience the look and feel of the event before the first piece of equipment is delivered to site.
